Great looking Silo. Sorta makes me take back what I said on another thread about no MM looking classic. Some Silos (though not the Specials imo) do have a classic look, especially in SSS. Nice catch, Banjo man.

Hey Steffen,

happy you like the PG !
I always considered it WAY COOL that I could switch PGs between my Specials, so enjoy the new versatility !:D

Cheers

Axel

P.S.: Oh, and I hope you'll post a pic sometime soon with the HSH PG on ;)

Here are the pics with the PG, Axilla was so kind to give me. It´s loaded with a DiMarzio Super Distortion (Bridge) and a DiMarzio PAFPro (neck) which I had lying around. The Singlecoil is a cheapo, had no good one here. Maybe I´ll buy a good one and would love to get some advice, because I´m absolutely not informed about SC´s. I like SC´s with bite and power.

I don´t know, which PG I will use mainly in the future. I guess it´s rather the SSS, because the Morse covers the Humbucker sounds really good, but this HSH PG is always an option. We´ll see...

Maybe the bridge Bucker should be F-spaced... :D

Cool stuff !

...whoopsie - it's only now that I recognize that that HSH pickguard must have been made for a Floyd Rose Silo...
Well - nevertheless - cool guitar and always good to have "options" at hand ;)

As for singlecoils just give Kinmans (Fender guitars, Noiseless Single Coil Pickups) a try. Definition, power and bite - completely hum-free...
I put them in all my Silhouette Specials and won't go back from there. :)

Gruß & Blues

Axel
