Congrats Keith and BP! Very nice instrument. I REALLY like the price point too! Very affordable in the realm of a new EBMM-quality instrument!

Thanks everyone great guitar and yes the price point is awesome as well, As soon as funds allow I will be picking up a Cutlass, BP you and the crew hit this one out of the park!

That red is awesome, nice axe Keith!

Thanks Pete it is a great color and guitar!! This guitar sounds so nice straight into my amp on both the lead and clean channel.

Cant waiti to try a Cutlass, but the Stingray is fantastic and again the price point on these guitars is fantastic as well!

This guitar is so nice:) Versatile and just rocks. Have heard a few comments in other threads about the neck finish, I really can't tell any difference from the standard oil/wax finish, feels and plays the same to me.

Thanks for that info Keith. I've been wondering about how the neck finish feels. Hopefully one of the GC's in my neck of the woods will get one in so I can go check it out.

Same here - it is a terrific finish.

Gosh I hope you guys remember that we all play and put playability at the top....the finish is pretty cool

I'll be happy to try one when they turn up here and be convinced. That said, your oil/wax necks are perfection for me, no other neck I've ever touched felt quite as comfortable. So all I'm saying is that if it came with one of those I wouldn't need to try one, I'd know I'd love it ;).

Can any stingray owners answer a neck question: is it the same v to c as on the cutlass or is at an asymmetric neck like the axis?
Just curious as I live in uk so won't be able to get my hands on one till June or July when they arrive over here. The more I read and the more videos I see the more I fancy one.

I think it is the same, I have a Cutlass arriving tomorrow and will do a comparison.

I played a Cutlass and a StingRay back-to-back last weekend; the Cutlass was a maple board model and it definitely felt V-to-C; the StingRay was a rosewood board model and it felt more like a straight C; it kind of felt in-between and Axis and a Reflex/25th Anniversary but slightly fatter.
