I wasn't particularly looking for another guitar but I came across this guy on eBay and couldn't resist! I needed an EBMM sparkle finish in my life
.
This was a used guitar but is in great condition overall, really just pickguard scratches is all I can notice.
When I plugged it in, I had a real head-sctatch moment! This is my first experience with the HT pickups and when I selected the bridge, I was like wow...the bass is huge...but where is the treble?
My gain tone sounded very mid focussed and way less bright than my other guitars.
Then when I moved to the neck pickup I noticed it was very thin and bright. So strange I thought!
Then it clicked, I have the pickup switch backwards!
I looked up the config for these guitars and it says that position 3 (up) is neck pickup, and position 1 (down) is bridge.
But it's actually reversed on this guitar! Anyone has this before?
Would this be difficult to reverse?
I'm looking forward to getting more familiar with this guitar and finding some great sounds. The neck on this may just be my favourite so far!
