Here's a question, would you consider letting a luthier put one on if it wasn't a PDN - say you had he natural finish

What you mentioned was one of the things hat had me concerned about comfort playing he valentine. If I had purchased one used I'd be willing to do it if I felt like not having the curves was putting me off playing sometimes

I have the natural finish and I wouldn't let a luthier do it. There's too much room for error. It would feel nicer, but I'm not complaining.

Bad news: my AL HH is still not available. It HAS been 4 weeks since I was provided with a 3-4 weeks ETA for hearing back from MM. Not only did my dealer not hear back, but with NAMM it'll be even longer now.

Be patient on your AL... this gives you extra time to bond with the Valentine. By the time the AL arrives, you'll be ready to it your full attention.

Well I also just got a Vigier G.V. Wood, so it'll be tough to try to bond with that many guitars at once

My AL HH which I pre-ordered was delayed AGAIN by 2-4 weeks.
Can't cancel the order due to the non-refundable deposit either.
I don't think I'll ever get another PDN on pre-order. Original ETA was late 2016, which prompted me to order. Then December 9th. All good. Then 3-4 weeks delay. And now, past that deadline again, ANOTHER delay.
