I'm liking the red quilt top... I usually go for "big" quilt, but this top is really busy and uniform and I am loving it. What do you think? What do you prefer? "Big" quilt or "tight" quilt?

Purple, Pink, and Opaque Black left.... Stay tuned!

I like tight quilts myself, and I know from experience that red is a beautiful color for an Axis but hard to photograph. The gold top is amazing.

Jeff, does that Vintage Gold have a matching headstock? Looking forward to the rest!

Any chance you'll get shots of all 11 together? Maybe even a non-black-backed photo type thingy? Your photos look great, but a little like an airbrushed catalog shot. Would be good to see them together in their natural element.

@MPM: The Vintage Gold and the Solid Black both have natural, unfinished (no gloss) headstocks like the original EVH Vintage Gold and Solid Black. Much to my chagrin, because I think matching headstocks would be cooler. I had asked Derek if I could get mine matching but that strays from the original so no-go.

@douglasspears: The only shot I have of all 11 together is the first post on this thread -- eleven EBMM's in shipping boxes. I can try to get a shot when I have time (SOOO BUSY THESE DAYS)... I know the shots I am posting are catalog style "product shots", but I'm photographing and setting these up for my new guitar gallery (old gallery below).
