So I mentioned a couple weeks ago that I bought a new EBMM, someone thought I bought the Emerald Green Luke 4 HSS and well I did
So pics of it, awesome
But that was not the only one and this was the first, had been looking for an Axis hardtail for awhile but slim pickings and either beat to hell or way, way over priced.
So one Sunday afternoon I was looking at Reverb and this guitar popped up, looked in good shape EVH hardtail, I messaged the seller about condition. case etc, stated good condition, all original including the case, so I asked best price , came back wit a reasonable price and pulled the trigger, very fine shape for a 31 year old guitar, strings were crap, non EB, and upon trying to replace realized the tunes were crap, original tuners but three barely turned. Seems the dude I bought it from had it as a case queen but in early life someone played it a lot.
So I contacted EBMM and they did not know a direct replacement with locking tuners, suggested I contact Schaller, so I did nice fellow with DR in his name responded quickly with the replacement parts. No where to be found in the USA so had to order directly from Schaller, took forever but got them and direct replacement, love them, 30 minutes later new tuners installed and kick ass, so here you go a rare bird
