Well there is no doubt here you are king of the Y2D! Really nice top on that one Joe and I totally get what you mean about 7 string guitars. When they were really hot with all those rap/metal type bands like Korn I nver saw them used as I think they were intended. They would tune down real low play a riff or root-5 power chord and then add a little playing on the higher strings, usually a motif or something. Now someone like Vai who was actually the first I ever took notice of with one would be flying around the whole neck, but I just read an interview with him where he stated he prefers 6 strings.
