After playing an Axis for the last 5 years, I could not get along with that Luke I bought 2 weeks ago. So it went back and I started a search for another Axis and found this beauty.

I always have to check to make sure these aren't photoshopped first. Really nice quilt. Completely different sound to the Luke

Way to go Jeff! What a beauty...pushes all the right buttons with me! BCB is such a classy, great looking colour, the MM90's never cease to amaze me (hope you like 'em too) and the rosewood neck is such a joy to play...! On top of all that it's quite a rare guitar, too! Huge congrats buddy! :)

Guys, I’m really liking the MM90’s. I took it into a private booth playing through a Line 6 from clean to hi-gain to metal. It did it all and sounded great.

I was pleasantly surprised by the versatility of these pick-ups.

Patrick, thanks for all the info.

STUNNING top! And those MM90s are incredibly versatile pickups, nothing an axis with two of these can't do... :D Enjoy it while I drown in that quilt...

Awesome Jeff! The cell phone pics didn't do it justice ... that's a beaut.

The MM90s are great pickups. They're very versatile, sound great clean or dirty. And a RW neck to boot.

Man, you're like a stealth F'ing. Turning over guitars like it's your job. That one is stunning. Have you considered giving it the chrome pickup covers and knobs like my spaceball? I think it really dresses it up a ton. And yah....the MM90's are awesome. (although I hear Rob hates them). :D

Tasty stuff Jeff. Great combination that's for sure.
My mate has an old Axis MM90s maple neck that is the duck's nuts... Love playing it. I'm sure yours sounds killer with the rosewood.
