Just received my L3 HH Bodhi Blue today.
I'm ecstatic! What an amazing guitar. My worries about the L3 neck were unfounded. It's perfect. Not at all unlike my Luke II actually, so it feels like an old friend. Great stuff. I needed to do a setup to get the bridge floating, but I fully expected that. Also I had a battle getting my locking strap buttons fitted, but once done, all is good. :D

Congrats! Same model as mine. Incredible guitar!!
The color has many fabulous hues depending on the angle and light.... ;)

Thanks! Here's another photo, the right way round..... I'm too scared to cut this cake!

Holy cow - that is the best cake I have ever seen. It looks very, very much like a Luke III.

Congrats on the Luke III, by the way! It is my most favorite model of all the ebmms.

Beautiful guitar! I'm curious; what were your concerns in regard to the neck?

I was concerned it would be too clubby for me. I'm a fan of skinny necks and as my Luke II neck is a bit chunkier that my Luke 1, I was worried the L3 neck would be bigger still. But actually it's closer to the Luke 1 in profile. I'm very happy with it.
