Nice EB double-neck on Eagles Farewell I

Some of steuarts best work is with Rodney Crowell.....Check out one of the finest albums that got ignored The Houston Kid by Rodney Steuart co produced it and it is in my top five cds in the last ten years. It is one of Lukes favorite by the way. Sont listen to it if you dont like perfectly arranged music supporting some heavy duty songwriting

It was a good show. I caught the whole thing, but still hope they replay it sometime soon. Stuart Smith is a great player, but for some reason I still miss Don Felder in the Eagles lineup.

I didn't see it - that is a good looking guitar - interesting he put the 12 string on the bottom - is that cause he doesn't use a trem on the 6 string? Also, there seems to be at least one extra switch on there - is there piezo on one or both of the bridges? Jon?

John Petrucci's double neck has that headstock on it too. It is kind of odd looking, but I think the 2/4 peg ratio is important enough to keep.

JP's doesn't have any magnetic pickups on the 12 string which I wa surprised at. I'd be cool to hear the JP pickups on a 12 string.

This guitar is way cool. Us mere mortals can only dream though.

Because it's a special one off guitar and the regular guidelines of how they do things don't necessarily apply. There is likely no specific reason for it other than JP wanted it that way.

I believe that belongs to Big Poppa. I think it's the twin to the one that was used on the Eagles concert.

EBMM makes two of every prototype. that's so that if they screw one up, there is still another. They probably made two of the double neck. One probably went to Steuart Smith. One probably stayed in SLO.

There are regular pickups in both parts 6 & 12. The configuration reminds me of a 20th's setup.

The Blue Silo if memory serves me right was a late 80's color.
