I know he was mentioned here a while back, but the new guitarist in the Eagles (replaced Don Felder) is playing a wicked white w/ pearloid pickguard EB doubleneck 12/6 Silo...

I also saw an MM90 Axis - cool...

And a black Silo...

And another Axis...

Steuart Smith has several of our guitars...I have worked on an Orange Super Sport with mm90's and piezo(if memeory serves) and quite a few others. They have had several Silo Basses made as well.

I remember last time we discussed double necks I went looking for a photo of that Silo. The only one I found was with the guitar facing the other way. It's on one of my other computers I'll post it later.

The Eagles just don't seem like the Eagles without Don Felder. That guy is one of the most underated players around.

I agree - it was sad how they made Steuart sit off to the side... Kinda like the Stones when Bill Wyman left...

Also, from the looks of it, they really touched up the vocals a lot. Way too much compression and for a live show, it was so sterile. Even Joe Walsh sounded like an angel!

I haven't heard it yet, and I have been huge fan of Joes since The James Gang, my point is this...How many times do you get to see 1 let alone 2 EB/MM axes on TV in front of how many millions of people? This is big y'all

You don't see them on the tube very often that's for sure. Nice to see a big band playing EBMM's. Hopefully for you guys, sales will go even higher......the world will eventually come around.......lol

I agree - it was great - I counted 4 in all... I LOVED the way he did those touch harmonics - very smooth...

I've been a long time Eagles fan and it was a great show to watch. The EB guitars were great to pick out. The white double neck with the 8/4 12 string was spectacular - plus it got out front in Hotel California - no real way to keep the new guy in the corner when those guitar licks are the primary focus of the song. But other sightings were glimpses - like the Axis is Rocky Mountain Way

Jon, now, I love Joe Walsh - but listen to (and watch) him on Life's Been Good. Somebody went a little protools crazy...

Maybe a bit touched up, but is any one cooler or have a better time being in a rock and roll band than Joe Walsh???

I remember him being asked in the early 90's during the Eagles down time about how he could have quit a great band like that - His response - Hey I didn't quit, I'm the only guy that still in the Eagles   :D

He's great - love Joe Walsh! But, all in all, I think the total sound of the concert was way too processed - I'm not singling out Joe. If you compare what you heard last night to the live tracks on Hell Freezes Over, it's waaay different...

I'll admit, there were times during seated / harmonized songs, particularly the post 9/11 number (not sure of the song title), when I was watching closely and wondering if we had a little Ashlee Simpson support in the tracks.

Steuart Smith is a ridiculously good guitarist. I've seen him live with Shawn Colvin a bunch of times. I didn't recognize him at first.
I love the Eagles (egos?) despite the political nonsense between band members.
It was cool to see what amounted to a 2 hour EB commercial on TV!

I recorded the last hour & 15 minutes of it. I saw on another forum, where it's supposed to be replayed on Bravo tonight (9:00pm here in Atlanta).

I've never been a fan of double necked guitars, but I thought the white EB on Hotel California was really cool.

Joe Walsh was really cool. I couldn't believe the difference between his speaking voice, what you could understand of it, and his singing voice. Jon, I was a big James Gang fan in high school also.
