Ah yes, the man of one offs. I know this question probably has been asked, but what is his affiliation such that he gets the special treatment of having special run basses?

I would assume so as well. Just wondering if things like the autumn sparkle burst bongo (or whatever it is) was made just for him for a reason or something.

I just am a) jealous and b) confused since EBMM always claims they dont have a custom shop, and if they do indeed do run offs like that for non employees, it just seems kinda shady to me. ><

Dont mind me, im just sour.

the logical answer is that he has the cash ready to plop down for whatever he wants and when something cool comes up he doesn't hesitate to pull the trigger

Not only the logical answer, but, as far as I know, the right answer. I think Dave will tell you that he's never had a custom bass made for him by EBMM - he just keeps an eye on the market and knows what he wants and is ready to buy when it comes up for sale. Right, Dave?

See my above paragraph. No need to be jealous or confused. (Although DJ's collection is enough to make us all just a little jealous.)
