I've been drooling over the Emerald Green 4's at Bass Central for a couple of weeks now,and today when I call to inquire about a Sterling 5 HS BFR,my heart sank when I'm told that there weren't any made! :( I am truly heartbroken now. I might need therapy for this...:D

Slightly different BFR runs Keko.

The BFR Sterlings with the fancy tops were a different run than the solid Rosewood necks.

The fancy topped Sterlings were about the same time as the Redwood topped SR4s.... IIRC.

The Redwood topped BFR Stingrays were only made in 4 bangers. I'm not sure about the Sterlinga, but it very well may be true.

These runs (fancy top Sterlings and Redwood Stingrays) they were a specific model, which is different from the BFR Rosewood or Roasted necks which were available on all models. I also believe that the Redwood and figured top Sterlings were a fixed run, as opposed to special order by demand of dealers and customers.

I will one day own a Redwood HH :).... And those Sterlings are beautiful too.
