No love for the Axis Semi-hollow?

Oh nvm, I owned a honey burst super sport for a while, but it wasn't a PDN. I kinda read that as "all" honeybursts were pdn, not that specific type of honey burst.

You are correct Dr. Kev. That PDN run was called Honey Roast, I assume it neatly makes reference to the roasted neck and Honey Burst finish.

The finish is Honey Burst, which was what I was referencing. I should have referred to it by the correct PDN name and not the finish.

Its the Rosewood fretboard that did it for me, I am not a maple lover so this has everything a Gent could wish for.........almost !!!

That is ironic Kev, given the situation we had, yes loving the guitar thank you, has an edge that my solid Axis/Piezzo doesn't and in UK so rare, I get a few muso's asking what it is.

Also, I guess many people associate semi-hollow guitars with jazz, so if you are not a fan of the genre you might overlook these beauties for their solid version sisters

A semi-hollow Armada sounds fantastic. I've been wanting a nice hollow body, the Axis one doesn't catch my eye right unfortunately. I think the Armada or maybe the Reflex would look great. I do enjoy the vintage looking hollow guitars though. It's hard not to picture those as the "right" looking hollow body guitars.
