So, some of you may have seen that I recently had to sell my JPX due to extreme financial woes. Well, I work at Guitar Center in Massachusetts. Turns out that my wife rounded up family members, and friends; basically anyone she could, to give even 5 dollars, and with my discount ordered me the Guitar Center 47th Anniversary JPX....completely unknown to me until I walked into work and my manager said "Hey, Marty...your guitar came in!" I was kinda like - yeah, OK, I wish until he said - no, seriously and took me to our warehouse where it was sitting in all it's glory in front of me.
I'm at work now, and although I've taken pictures, can't upload them. But I PROMISE I will once I'm home.
I'm completely floored at the generosity of people. She said she will not ever tell me who gave and how much, and I'm OK with that. We contributed zero and yet she said some people wanted to keep giving once she had earned all the funds.
So, again, think your wife is the best. Sorry, my wife just pulled into first and it's looking like a land slide victory, folks!
