I was selling a tweed bass case on cl last week and had a bass player come over to buy it. Earlier that morning I had bought a sub 4 and had it out giving it a good cleaning and putting on new strings. I asked if he had ever played a musicman. He said a couple but they weren't setup properly. So I hand him the sub and he falls in love. He stars smiling and mumbling about killer tone. And starts playing some smokin funk. Very good bass player! He leaves and calls me back in an hour and asks if I would sell the sub. I figure I can find another one since I have already owned 6 so I say okay. We strike a deal for cash after I turn down 2 fenders and $50. He just came over 15 minutes ago and picked it up. Here are some pics of the newest Musicman convert! :D

Good work, 57!

His right hand is a blur in the first shot which is always a good sign.

Very cool! I have been playing my Sterling a ton lately. My youngest kid Zach, who turns 7 in a few days, asked me if I would buy him a bass just like mine. I am now thinking in a few years of buying him a SUB bass to start out on.

He's bought a great bass, still love my SUB in my own opinion it's better than the Ray 34. I am going to a guitar show on Sunday looking for a white scratchplate for mine
