I'm actually a guitard, so naturally I voted in this poll. After all, I don't own a Bongo. (Although I wouldn't mind having one to replace my P-bass.)

But Meester Steeb, you have all that stuff oyu don't need, right:confused:
get off yer ass ans sell some, Buy a bongo and smile.

OK, now you're going to have to start another poll titled:

"If you don't own a Bongo but own an EBMM bass guitar and you play your EBMM bass guitars but you don't now own a Bongo or really plan to get one in the near future because you don't like the looks, you can't find one near you or any other reason stated here, please place a check mark in the appropriate age category and only full years (NOT 49.5 or 35.5) count.'

BTW - I'm 50 and damned proud of it. There's only one alternative to getting older and I'm not ready to die.

Haha! I'll ship it all to Sweden for the right price! I might pack myself in there so I can have a look at the fatherland... :)

Darn, I'm not very good at following directions - I voted although I own a Bongo.

It's a good thing I don't do anything important in life. :)

I'm one of those guys - turned 38 on March 4th.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only young person here, being 18 and all. It's kind of nice to see people even younger than that, but it doesn't matter, it's all good.

Like I'm gonna wait patiently? I voted in the catagory most opposite to myself, since it was supposed to be a null vote.

Hey, let's not call the null catagory "Abstain". Let's call it "Hanging Chad" [no offense intended to anyone named Chad, of course ... ]

Um...all you have to do is click on "View Poll results." I didn't vote, but I had no problem seeing what the results were....

It's true...Bongoloids are geezers!

I think we have enough responses....

Here's the result:

- More than 50 percent of Bongo owners are over 40. (Poll has 44 votes total)

- Only 20 percent of those who do not own Bongos are over 40. (Poll has 40 votes total)

Which proves one of three things:

1) The original premise is correct, that older people care less about appearances or convention than younger people do, and so are more open to buying a "different' bass.
2) That older people are wiser and more discerning, and therefore more impressed by the Bongo's awesomeness.
3) Absolutely nothing, since the poll is self-selecting and has no control.

:D :D
