Dang you rock Steve!

The last picture of the good looking guy playing the proto was actually taken by Luke himself. When he handed me back the camera the exchange was not smooth. The camera sort of slipped and hit the guitar. Dudley witnessed the event and if he had shot me and/or Luke I am sure his actions would have been justified by any judge. "It's OK" Luke said reassuring to Dudley, " The camera appears to be undamaged." I kid. The guitar had no visible signs of damage but it was scarey.

I was a huge thrill for me to get to play the prototypes that were there. Like I said before, these guitars felt like an old friend from the moment I picked it up.

nice pictures.
the silo looks very nice, but i don´t like the pup rings.
Joe you have to give the design team credit for trying to do different things. I have a feeling people will warm to the design myself, I like them personally.

I like the idea of having adjustable pickups without a pick guard that could hide the grain of the quilt. I didn't even notice them ('cause the guitar just felt so good) until Dudley pointed them out to me. I think their functionality will far outweigh any other negative aesthetics.

It's still OK with me if you don't like them. And Thank You for feeling free to voice your opinion here on the forum.

I like the body and the neck - looks sharp. For some reason...I prefer the tuneomatic bridge...to the bridge on this guitar (admittedly - not much hands on time on this style bridge) - I think that would looks super sharp on that body. What sort of pups on this Silo?? I can't decide what to think about the pups and pup rings - need to see it in person.

If no single coil in the neck - I hope you can get a split toggle. Is the neck radius larger on this Silo?? I like that it's a 24 fret neck. Lastly - when does this thing hit the streets?

It has 2 custom DiMarzio humbuckers with 500k volume and tone pots, and a .022 uF tone capacitor. Also is available with the MM vintage trem.
