Yep. It's another one.

I loaned my Bongo to my bass player to use-why you say...

1. I have it to loan
2. It sounds a hell of a lot better than his
3. I converted him and he's eyeballing a Bongo 5 single H

Anyway, I go to rehearsal Tuesday night to prep for our New Years gig and my bass player gives me that guilty look. Oh hell, what happened? The Bongo's not on the stand but in it's case.

The volume pot sheared off. Damn.

I called EB Wednesday morning and explained the problem and the urgency with the New Years gig coming. Not a problem says he. Great says I.

So I sit here and write this post as my soldering iron heats up to put the new pot in that was waiting for me on my doorstep when I got home tonight.

Holiday kudos to the CS staff and head club soda drinker.

edit - Club Soda - CS? Coincidence??? :D

I was cringing at the fact that this is the week after christmas but you guys pulled through. So did FEDEX for that matter. That's cause for extra double public flattery.

The look on the guys faces when I brought the repaired bass back to rehearsal was priceless. I said to them, "That's why I love this company and their instruments. Call them on Wednesday with a issue and it's resolved on Thursday."

...(maybe a little for AMY too..)

you two have a great new years!

 Amy said she really liked the Koa tops...

Sterling, You and yours have a great New Years also. If you happen to be hanging with Luke, pump him for the answer to the outstanding question from Dallas about his first "hit" after coming onboard with Musicman.

Thanks again.

I remember this time last year I was trying to find my way home from Indio and the Biff Baby Jam.
Good times.

Yeah, the whole internet was down for a few days due to the earthquake in Taiwan that destroyed some undersea communication cables that connect the US with the rest of south asia/southeast asia. Can't surf the forums these few days! Urgh!

But finally could do some surfing and get my fix here!
Thank God!

Happy new year guys!
