Not EBMM related: Any of you guys ride a motorcycle??

My second passion besides music and EBMM guitars is my bike.

I have a 1997 Honda CB1000 (naked bike). I'm thinking of buying the new Honda CB1300, but I'm still saving...

Any of you guys ride some sort of motorbike??

I used to ride. It's been about six years now. My wife made me give it up after I went down on the freeway at 100 mph. I'll never forget the look on her face when she came into the ER and saw me.

I used to ride dirt bikes when i was younger and my uncle's street bike on ocassion.

I would love to get a Harley.

I used to ride, too - my first bike was an old Honda CB360T from about 1976, and I owned a Suzuki 750 water buffalo and Kawasaki KZ900 after that. I wrote them all off in stupid accidents. Now, my wife won't let me own another one until the kids have finished university!

Growing up my mother wouldn't let me ride them - she's a nurse and had seen too much.

After I married my wife wouldn't let me have one - her college boyfriend was killed on a bike.

At this point I figure it's fate so I'll accept that. But it does add to the GAS conversations..... But honey, it's not like I went out and got a motorcycle

No bike but I used to have a passion for VW's - I was chairman of the South Wales VW owners club for many years and had one of my bugs in a Haynes manual. Had a '54 Oval and a 60 Baja bug.

I started riding back in '88, and have owned six bikes in that time.

From first to most recent:

Yamaha 400 Special ~ sold
Kawasaki KZ650 ~ crashed
Yamaha SECA 750 ~ sold
Honda VFR750 ~ sold
Honda Interceptor 500 ~ sold
Honda Magna 750 ~ sold

Hoping to be in the market for a brand new 1300-1500cc cruiser by late May or mid-June.

I miss the freedom! Those who do ride know what I'm talking about.

I ride dirt bikes. My dad had a Suzuki Intruder Volusia. I rode that once or twice, but mom made him sell it. Now we have dirt bikes. I want a bike, but I'm don't have the money to swing it. The Yamaha Warrior is a good looking bike if you ask me.

When I was a kid, my brother and I used to ride dirt bikes...
Yamaha YZ80, then YZ125...

I haven't owned one since I was about 14 though, and I'm 36 now.

Rode a lifetime ago...

Honda CM250C -> Honda V45 Sabre -> Honda CB1100F -> Kawasaki Ninja 900 -> Kawasaki Ninja 600...

Then it was time for four-wheel transportation...



There's a BIG Harley in my future - probably treat myself at 50!
