I've also been keeping an eye out and been surprised that there hasn't been anything new mentioned since the last BFR. Did you happen to see the new bass that Joe Dart has been playing? It has what looks like 2 single coil pick ups spaced like a jazz bass. That is something that I would be very interested in. I have a few Stingrays and they're my favourite but I also like a jazz bass sound, but not so much the looks and feel of a jazz bass body so something like a couple single coils in a Stingray or Sterling body would be amazing.
