Hey guys, I’ve played a lot of Ernie Ball strings in the past, but later switched to Elixir and D’Addario.
I recently put on a set of Ernie Ball Super Slinkys again, and I noticed that after only a few hours of playing, the surface of the high strings becomes very rough and matte. This makes them very unpleasant to play, especially for slides and bends.
Has anyone else had this experience with Ernie Ball strings recently?
