So whaddy'all think?

It sounds like what it is, an unfinished Lennon song from the late 70's stuck together with a Paul and George tune in the 90s and shelved until recently when the technology existed to separate John's original vocal from the single track vocal/piano demo.

But I like it. It's very cool that it happened.

I don't know.
In times where an AI can make Stevie Wonder sing with Metallica...are we absolutely sure that's John Lennon's voice for real?
Who knows?

The song is very nice, by the way.
Not Eleanor Rigby, but better than 99% of today's average musical garbage around.

Yes, it's JL's voice. Contrary to what has been widely reported, AI was not used to make the song. A machine learning algorithm was trained to remove the sound of the piano from John's voice (because the original 1977 version of the song was a demo recorded to a simple tape recorder of John at a Piano, on a single audio track). On teh Beatles YouTube channel you can listen to the original recording in its entirety.

I listened to original piano+voice demo.
Surely Ringo and Sir Paul do not need to fool anyone.

I still miss George Harrison a lot.

I don't understand. How did they fool anyone?
No, no, no, no.
They DON'T fool anyone... :)
They do not need to do that.
I mean, that's John Lennon's voice... :)

And I miss George because his songwriting was my preferred.
Seeing him in that video made think about this.
Aside his work with The Fab Four, I still own first Travelling Wilburys record....and what a record, man!!
