Heh...

I got another ball...

This time: the almight Albert Lee...

This guitar although modified by a kahler trem with locking system and a dimarzio bridge humbucker, still sounds frickin awesome! it's the ultimate strat clone to me, sounds clean, bright, punchy and yet powerful, I'm so happy!

I got it with a very old musicman hard shell case, with leather on the outside and no writings on it...

serial number is: 96829

Cheers!

As far as the bridge is concerned I have no idea of its age, it looks like the bridges you find on old Charvel guitars from the 80's... the dimarzio pickup has a logo on its edge, Not sure of model though but it sounds similar to a paf pro to my ears.

as for the guitar... I'm waiting for Dan to give me the year of production... so we'll see...

Welcome to the ALOC - but please remember, in no way can the handbook or decoder ring have any insight into that trem.

The CIC must now collect his thoughts.

That's pretty unique, definitely something you won't see every day. Swap the bridge for a nickel plated one ;)

A twist has happened which made me return the Albert Lee...

The bridge: didn't stay in tune at all... and strings popped out of the bridge... and for some reason it didn't sound open on my tube or solid state amps... so I returned it to the shop.

But, since i'm a EBMM lover, I couldn't just go without something cool. So, I found this silhouette and now it's here to stay! yes it does!

It's a black one with matching headstock, maple fingerboard... It's pretty new, barely used, just stood there in the shop without much use... it's got the compensated nut so it's gotta be pretty new... but it still rocks! and now for real... actually tested it...

At least now, it's alright...

I know I'm crazy, but having so many guitars that had technical problems I just couldn't take it anymore and I wanted something real that doesn't ruin your mood and definitely not your gig... so there it is...
