Wow- that's really nice ... I am interested ...

Wonder what the deal with the humbucker is- if that was for an Endorsee or something.

hmm... interesting, but I'm not sold on the idea that it's a factory mod unless we get confirmation from someone from the factory... Maybe Jon could shed some light on this one?

Yea, I'm kind of sceptical about the bucker being installed in the factory. But it definatly looks cool and I like humbuckers in the bridge position :D. Maybe I will get a AL at some point and do something like that.

When I first became interested in getting an AL, I googled all sorts of things regarding the guitar, including mods and came across some site that spoke of this cat who played in Japan with an AL with humbucker in the bridge position. I believe he had this mod done after he purchased the guitar.

I have also been told that humbuckers were offered for a brief period of time in the past, but I have no idea if these comments were legit or not.

We definitely need some EBMM in-house knowledge to clear up this matter:D

I emailed the seller to ask about it. He said he's a former employee so had it done at the factory. Also said that there is a silent circuit for the singles.

Mmmmmm.

I think the seller is lying. If somebody gets the serial # we can see if it is an employee instrument

I asked him for the serial number and he wouldn't tell me. He said he wouldn't because of ebay scams.....Hmmmmm

The guitar was made at the factory with this modification. This guitar was ordered by a former employee who may be liquidating his collection. For anyone who is interested in purchasing, this AL is a nice guitar with no stories.
