That's a great guitar and I know its history and the seller. He is a former employee that we all think highly of. I'm kind of sorry to see him sell it. Dont buy it if you are allergic to birdseye!

Well I was strongly considering it ... but I know how Pete wants to build up that Blue Dawn collection. So I'll bow out.

(Hopefully that gets me some goodwill on a new purchase down the road ...)

Great looking' geetar there, though. And kind works from BP to boot.

Pete's the only one who's bid on it so far!
You have to bid at least a little to drive up the price!! :p ;)

The seller is only shipping in the US anyways

Yep, but I always snipe at the last minute. Say what you will, it's usually the only way to win an auction. (Never let your enemies see you coming ...)

And I've got a US office, so I get stuff shipped there and they send it up to me ;)

(But no matter since I'm not bidding.)

I'm glad that I found I posted the find here as soon as I saw it. I had a gut feeling that it was a pretty special one. I hope you get this one Pete. It looks freakin sweeeet with that hum in bridge and the color combination :D.

Yep...I was wrong, and I got a phone call from the owner of the guitar in question giving me crap because I didn't bleeb him ( it was all in good fun).

I hope one of you forum guys wins the auction. He also has a sweet Axis hardtale that I would LOVE to have but I'm saving for a 20th Silo:cool:
