Mine are on order. I love the Jazz III line of picks.

If you've never tried a Jazz III, please do...for me, it is the perfect size because I choke up on my picks: I grip right at the tip.

I had a few laying around in a small ziplock looking thingy... Just like how these jp's came to me today.. Was laying around my room for a few weeks then disappeared.. Hmm? Either got tossed accidentally or grew legs.. Lol

I got a pck from Dunlop today, for testing some new picks, and the new JP jazz III was in it..

I am really impressed. We're all trying to find the best pick for our fingers techniques and size. But with this one, my focus was on the picks polished tip.
I would never guess that a polished tip would have so much impact on my playing.
You can really feel the pick glide more fluently over the strings.
I don't even know how to proper explain it, but dudes and dudettes.. You just have to try them..
Awesome!

I used my test set tonight at a luau show I did.. Although it was a mainly polynesian based format I get to let loose in some jazz and bluesy stuff.. These picks were crazy responsive and like unsaid I felt like I was kinda gliding. So much so that I switched back to my own EBMM pics for a bit and went back and forth.. But I'm a new JP Jazz lll style pick fan..

How are you guys getting them from Dunlop?

I am going to my local GC to pick up some Cobalts soon (String club!). I'll see if they have these picks. if they do, I'll report back.

Just got some the other day and they're amazing! They're my primary pick of choice now. I played better instantly!

I've been using v-picks more specifically the "chicken picker" more for those jazz lll players.. But I've been liking the Dunlop max grip graphite jazz lll's as of late.. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1361447388.407765.jpg but these are my hands down favorite! :))

Hate to say it...but the JP Jazz picks are AWFUL. They are by far the biggest Dunlop Jazz picks, which is disappointing because the mojo behind the Jazz picks were the small size and pointy tip. There is no grip surface on these so I find this one slipping more than any other Jazz I have used. The Eric Johnson Jazz picks are way better IMHO.

Agree with DrewH, I didn't like JP Jazz III too. And back to original Jazz III Nylon Red. For my taste, they are the best for both lead and rhythm playing, all styles of music (rock, pop, metal). I also like Black Stiffo Jazz III's, but they're best only for playing with overdriven & distortion sounds, I don't like 'em too mush on cleans. The worst thing in JP Jazz III's - their size.
