I know, it's only a sub but this bass is the fastest 4 string I have owned. This is my 9th sub and like the 5 string OldSchool Noob sold me it is a keeper. Snappy tone with the 3 band. I haven't had a sterling sub before. Were there any sterling sub 5 basses made?

Nice bass - congrats.

The Sterling 5 wasn't done as a Sub, only the Ray 5 (as per yours) - the Sterling 5 is quite recent whereas the Sub was discontinued some years back.

Yes, it is a USA made EBMM and smokes any bass in its price range! Awhile back I posted a sub bass I had bought and no one responded. I figured it was because it was a sub and not some new or fancy MM. Thanks for the responses this time.

Anything will go with black, pretty sure that you got tort on the Ray an black on your Bongo so how about a white ?
Think some sort of ice/pearl white on the Sterling would look pretty cool.
