Well, the past 24 hours have truly been amazing....

Firstly, I married my partner of 10 years yesterday at a civil cermony at City Hall that was absolutely perfect for her and I. I am truly blessed to finally take the plunge with my soul mate and though it doesn't do much to change how we've been living for so long, it does offer a sense of completion by making it "official".

Secondarily, I think something was rattled loose in her brain, or she was blinded by her new ring because today I was given the green light by the newly annointed master of my domain to appease my GAS pains. Using some wise and worldly advice from ADouglas of not leaving gear unused, I traded in an old F$%&*r 5er that I had sitting in its case for 2 years and also an old amp, and voila! I left with a very gorgeous, and amazingly playable BFR SR4 H with a roasted neck! Beautiful tone and sustain. Love the 3 band EQ, and I love the feel! The best part is, I traded in the gear, got the bass, and the store gave me $70!!! Perfectly happy.

I have been fortunate enough to get the perfect wife, the perfect bass, and it was all in the span of 24 hours. Sometimes things do come up Millhouse!

Merry Christmas to all, and I hope some of this incredible luck I have had rubs off on all my fellow knuckleheads! Here's to the best sickness on earth!

Off to rehearsal, better pics to come.

Congratulation to you and your new bride on getting married! My wife and I have been together for almost 12 years and married almost 11 and I love every bit of being married. Next, congratulations on the new bass! I love the BFR Roasted necks. You got yourself and incredible bass that you will love for years!

Thanks everyone!

Now, after a test drive at practise, I must say thanks to EBMM for yet another fine instrument. Love this 3 band EQ and the growl of the ebony. Finish is brilliant. Wife approves!

Congratulations!!! Never forget, we may have GAS... But our wives have SAS, CAS, JAS and about a ton of other "acquisition syndromes" they have to deal with from day to day. Keeping your better half happy is essential to keeping yourself happy. :D

Just sayin'

Thanks again!

Sorry for the lack of better pics, every time I open the case I am forced to pick up the bass and then I can't put it down. It's a vicious cycle.

AD,
Normally I would put her to work. In this instance she is too busy staring at shiny metallic digits. Tomorrow is fixing to be the date for the photo shoot. Merry Christmas to all.
