What a great game. That last quarter was a nail biter. I know a lot of the forumites are not from the NY area or Giants fans, but I had to share my happiness!

Great game. Living in Mississippi I obviously pull for any team with a member of the Manning legacy.

The Eagles fans I know, wanted the Giants to win, because they think that the Pats cheated when they played the Eagles in the 2005 Super Bowl

JD,

You should know the name!! It's the name of the new MM bass comin' out next month (similar to the Marshall "plexi").:)

Dizzle... my parents almost named me Plaxico...I actually met him as he went to college in my old back yard (East Lansing). Although he's not awesome with words he is a super nice guy and caught one of the most memorable touchdowns in Super Bowl history!

I really just want to know what kind of a name "Plaxico" is ??

I think it's a prescription drug... used to treat pervasive gas and indigestion.

Side effects may include: slight skin irritation, loss of appetite, numbness of the fingertips, partial facial paralysis, heart burn, blindness, nausea, bloating, death, insomnia, jungle fever, runny nose, shingles, and hair loss.

After the big catch, John (strangeglow) said, "Burress. Bure Ass. BURE ASS."

I said, "John, the man's name is Plaxico Burress and you choose to make fun of his LAST NAME?"

I guess I'm the only new englander on the forum? Maybe I'm just the first one to stop crying about it

It was a great game, congrats Giants. But hey, 18-1 ISN'T bad. And don't say that Spygate had anything to do with it. New York loves to call us cheaters.

All in good fun, New Yorkians. You have a nice city ;)

I'm an Eagles fan, and I was rooting for the Giants. I don't like the G-men, and I'm still not convinced Eli has turned a corner (he threw several floaters in the second half that could easily have been picked off and ended the game before he had a chance to be a hero), but I give him and his team credit for making the most of their opportunity. The thing is, I have grown to dislike this Pats team more than I ever expected. Not because I think they cheated in the SB against the Eagles (although I suspect there's a lot more to Spygate than the NFL's lame-ass investigation uncovered before they destroyed the evidence), but for their arrogance and lack of sportsmanship.

If the Pats had been playing the Cowboys in the Super Bowl, I would have been really conflicted. This SB was just the lesser of two evils, like every Presidential election.
