I think these things are in the eye of the beholder. IMHO the big quilt on mine is 1000x better than the bi-directional flame on that listing. It's an interesting top, and if you prefer flame I guess it's a good flame, but... I'll take the one I've got. Again, nothing bad -- it all comes down to personal taste.

That’s stunning. And I have had the same thought. These production Axis guitars are getting to be as fancy as the BFR models of years past. They’re amazing.
