I work at an animal hospital for years and I've only ever seen 2 cat over 30 pounds...one of which couldn't walk and we had to do a so called tummy tuck...

I'm pretty sure about the weight, we had to put him on a diet for this last year. But he's bigger now than he was then. I'll find out today. Maybe I heard wrong, but he's the fattest cat most around here have ever seen.
But even being fat and slow, he does pretty well at hunting.

OK, I apparently heard wrong the first time, I just got a call from the vet and Oliver has gained more weight and now weighs 27.9 pounds.
He’s way too fat they tell me, but some special (expensive) food will help.

yeah, just don't feed the cat everyday...
ask the vet about amount of food to give the cat and make sure your cat isn't eating any of the other cat's food if you have more than one cat...my 2 cents from experience
