O/T Could I get some positive vibes?

Without going into detail (long and complicated deal) could I get my forum friends to send positive energy toward my wife? She has one of the biggest deals to make today of her career. It's been a long and difficult ordeal; it's been all over the local and state news here. A very bitter situation that we both would love to have resolved, as well as a few hundred thousand people.

I really believe in the power of positive vibes (Beth thinks I’m nuts),

Hey Chuck there was no article on the link...

This much I know..Your Beth is the ying or yang of the eclectic ward ying yang. I guess from previous posts that she is strong, intelligent and tolerant.....and that is just babysitting your kingdom.

I think this must be something jack discussed briefly with me a few months ago regarding Beth taking a stand? In the vanilla, safe, pass the buck monochromatic corporate world people with gumption, a sense of right and the ability to put everything on the line is to be celebrated regardless of the outcome......But the hopefully truth shall prevail and I love the fact that she is taking it to the wall. She has very good support here......

Chuck, I hope everything works out for your wife. Being in the medical field for my other profession, I am well acquainted with the stress of corporate negotiations and how sticky they can be when you try to balance people's health with dollars and cents.

I hope it all works out soon.

being on the board of directors of Mattel Childrens Hospital at UCLA I know much on this subject...In this video the Doctor is just a cliche wielding weasel...How about if he offers to cut his rate if he is so concerned...
Blue cross can say what they want but the trap hospitals into short paying contracts and grandstand about having to catch up (thus 36% increase) But what about Me? OUr insurance with blue c ross just went up 19.3 percent and has doubled in the last 5 years. Im sure the hospital hasnt doubled what they charge Blue cross....

BLue Cross has too much power as most insurance companies have left the benefit market.

Beth is getting it from all sides, we get calls here at the house, and some of the board members are twisting her arm because their company has BCBS. They posted her salary in the paper (1/6 that of the CFO of BCBS) so now we are getting every organization in the state wanting hand outs.

The hospital can't get a fair shake in the media because the BCBS ad budget is 10 times higher, who would they piss off by telling the truth, their bigger customer!

Today she’s going to lunch with her counterpart from BCBS, no lawyers, no cronies, just her and him for one last ditch effort make a deal. She has the best package she can do and stay afloat… I await the news.

It's great to see you guys get it. BP I've been forwarding your comments to Beth, she loves you baby!

Chuck you know how I feel about it as we talked about it. She is going to do the right thing no matter how it comes out. She is the kind of person everyone needs on their side and she is just that.

Sending Beth some tough old Kansas hillbilly whip ass for today.
