How does that small stand hold up to a heavy SR5 I wonder. :confused:
My Blue Dawn weighs almost 12 pounds and I would worry that it would tip. :(

jlepre, the Stingray sits nicely on it. I've included some links to pics so you can see:

The "knob" part of the stand [on which the back of the bass rests] is low enough such that the bass leans back nicely; so no fear of it falling forward.

The stand is really heavy duty, and I have no concerns of it supporting a Stingray. I can't imagine a SR5 being much heavier than a 4 string, so I'd have no concerns there either

And as mentioned, this thing folds up beatifully [the 2 "hooks" and 3 legs fold up alongside the vertical post], so it fits into a backpack easily.
