Well, yesterday afternoon the lovely Patricia packed her bags........:(

I walked her to the door as she said her goodbyes to me and my daughter.......:(

And watched her drive away..........:( :( :(

Left me and the little one here to live it up while she's gone!

This place is gonna be a wreck by Saturday!

Hey, my wife left last Weds. to go to Columbus, Oh. for a knitter's conference (don't ask) & to visit some old friends; then over to Indianapolis to spend a couple of days with our daughter. She had just gotten back a few weeks ago from 3 weeks in China. So, basically I've been solo man for a month. I've only bought 2 basses, a guitar, & a guitar amp--so it was a little slow for me.

Dear Big Poppa,

I think my wife is cheating on me. I am a working musician and, as you would expect, travel a lot. I have been noticing strange things happening when I get home. Her mobile phone rings and she steps outside to answer it or she says, "I'll call you back later". When I ask her who called she gets evasive.

Sometimes she goes out with friends but comes home late, getting dropped off around the corner and walking the rest of the way. I once picked up the extension while she was on the phone and she got very angry.

A buddy of mine plays bass in a band. He told me that my wife and some guy have been to his gigs. He wanted to borrow my amp. That's when I got the idea to find out for myself what was really happening.

I said "Sure, you can use my amp but I want to hide behind it at the gig and see if she comes into the venue and who she comes in with". He agreed.

Saturday night came and I slipped behind my Ampeg SVT2 Pro and 810 Cab to get a good view. I could feel the heat coming off the back of the amp.

It was at that moment, crouching down behind the amp, that I noticed that one of the tubes was not glowing as bright as the others.

Is this something I can fix myself or do I need to take it to a technician?

Tell your daughter to cross over into Palm Beach and get 'discovered' by one of those trust fund kids... ;)

It’s a long and difficult story, but here’s the short version.

My daughter had a very bad time in college, home sick and depressed she withdrew after the start of the second semester. She moved back in with us and still is battling depression. She got a job that lasted two days. She was planning to go back to school here this fall, but in the mean time she wants to try modeling. We are going to try to help her with this, but there are so many pitfalls and a degree of danger, we want everything to be legit, but my wife and I have no clue of how to go about it.

I think she said Connecticut? Something like that.

She threatened to come back Thursday night, though.

i think i'll turn the amps up today and see if i can maybe get her to go somewhere.


like the freakin' grocery store would be nice.

my wife left me for real about 2 months ago and it wasn't funny in the least.

I did get a dargie though...
