Here is the story.......I have a lot of buddies on the PGA tour..(professional Golfers) The CLB also has a pro-am with a 22 pro's each year the day after the Bob Hope.

One of the golfers I met last year was Anthony Kim. He is widely regarded as the best young talent on the Tour. This is his rookie year. For most of the year he was 4th in driving distance and was 1st in all around stats...He kind of cooled off for a lot of reasons but still has won over 1.5 million dollars thus far this year.

Two weeks ago he made a trip to the desert to see me. He was looking for some direction. He must of liked what I said because he asked me to help him for awhile...I've accepted the position of Manager/coach until he fires me or I get sick of it.

Im here in the Texas for the Texas open for my first week out with Anthony...He shot 63 in the pro am today eight birdies and one eagle and two bogies.....

Dont worry I havent given up my day job...this is something I can do from wherever I am and will require that I travel some weekends....

If you are a golf fan root for Anthony and follow our journey....

Here at the Texas open Anthony got a sponsors exemtion last year for his tour debut...he came in second!

I think some of my friends are really happy some are confused..Basically I look at it as an adventure and a chance for me to do something different while not giving up anything.
Here is my credential.......

Trainer gets me more access than manager.....I love it the tour called and said" you are Anthony's mental coach, right?" I could be the fattest trainer in tour history........

By the way I had my insurance physical before I left.....blood pressure 122 over 60 with no medication! Woo Hoo

I went to highschool with Anthony. We had a couple classes together. I think we drove our English teacher to an early retirement. I'm glad he's doing so well. I haven't seen him for a while.

Kinda reminds me of when my dad used to drive drunk in his Suburban through the country. Except no unintelligible calls to Germany on the cell phone.

Great news BP.

Congrats.

You are very much a "can do" sort of guy, I'm sure your positive attitude will inspire Anthony to succeed.
