Sounds like fun Ritchie! I'm gonna try to take my daughter to Disney World next year on vacation!

Monday and Tuesday I'll be at Zoo Atlanta and then to the Georgia Aquarium with my 4 year old daughter ( and the wife! )

Afterwards I get to enjoy a nice dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse :D

After just completing 7 days at DisneyWorld with a 4 year old (who loved Mission Space and Everest, go figure), I feel your pain... now sit back and take a vaction from your vacation and all will be well

I had 4 days at Disney World with a 5-year old and a 3-month old in May. Luckily I was smart enough to entice some additional family along to help with watching the baby while my oldest and I rode everything in sight. :D

Ritchie,

I spent yesterday with the kids (5yrs and 3 yrs) at Kennywood park. Monday was Sandcastle water park, and Sunday we were literally making sand castles at Presque Isle state park.

Two days at Disneyland with a 12-year old doesn't sound so bad! :D

No pain, no gain!

I am the biggest theme-park fan in the family - my wife chases around "three" kids whenever we're doing a park.

Awesome! :D

Ah yes! Me too! I LOVE roller coasters! But let me explain.

See, I don't walk so good. I have a very pronounced limp.

My right leg, just below the knee, is badly scarred and the shattered bone has never healed correctly.

So, it is with some effort that I dragged my carcass around the magic kingdom! :D

Not complaining really. My daughter now thinks I am the greatest human that ever lived!

But it sure was painful. :(

And my personal philosophy is "No pain...............NO PAIN"!!! :D

AH - sorry to hear - I have a similar worry with my knee and all... Will there be any issue and Disney World next time 'round - we shall see.

In your case, I suspect the smiles on your daughters face healed all! :D
