Definitely true in my case. And my golf clubs are bargain basement, Fisher-Price My First Clubs affairs. Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration.

Yes, we had a good storm on Wednesday night.. I had no power for 8 hours! It went out at 5pm and wasn't restored until 1am. I wouldn't have minded, but I had to leave at 6am Thursday to be in Buffalo for a funeral.

BP, go to the Oakmont Bakery (I understand they're supplying all the goodies for the US Open anyway, so you may have already tried their stuff), and get some of the 'New York Style" cinnamon and chocolate rolls.

None for Gary though, if he wants to maintain his boyish figure.

Golf Project

Not much a golfer here but i do have much respect for the game, 1986 we did an LP at Willie Nelsons Studio in Spicewood Texas and we Golfed almost everday with him at his Pedernales Golf Course and I must say, he was very good and we sucked, but hell it was fun.

Ok the Us Open is under way and Gary Hanser and I were lucky enough to be invited to Oakmont with Marty Albertson to play it before they shut it down to the public.

THe most famous hazard is the "Church Pew Bunkers"

Marty was in it twice but that wouldnt be nice to show since he was our host and biggest customer!

You want to run ballz out in at least 3rd. gear thru the church pews or as men call them whoops.they should build a double or table right after it.Golf courses..should be turned into motocross tracks..What a waste of space...

I just got back from a round at the local course with nothing like that in the way of sand or rough... and struggled (my new Calloways are working very nice though). I got burried in the fairway sand here and had trouble... I would probably still be trying to dig my way out of the pewes (or tunneling to China).

FTR, I'm the moderator and I don't have a big fit when people play whatever basses float their respective boats. For reasons I don't fully understand, Warwicks seem to be a big target. Might be their ad campaigns.
