Mac screen grabs?

Apple, Shift and 3 will grab full screen and save image to your desktop.

Apple, Shift and 4 you should get a cross hair to select the area to be grabbed. Click mouse down to start selecting area then drag to size and release!

I'm just working on getting a good grade in my physics exam coming up. Doesn't look as boring as some of this that you guys are doing though!

Ahh you must have one of the new slimline keyboards? Then it should be 'Command, shift and 3 or 4'

Hope this helps!

back to fulltime gigging Mark?

With two kids under two and a Sydney mortgage? I wish. No such luck, just that someone wants to pay me more money for a totally autonomous and more interesting job, working for a CEO who believes everybody should be out of the office at 5.00pm. And no matrix reporting structure (ie. only one boss, not three). And no unions to deal with. And the office is 10 minutes drive from home.

I like my current job and company, but this new one is a dream job for me.

You know, Mark. I made a similar decision about 10 years ago, and my only regret was that I hadn't made the move sooner. Best of luck with your journey!

How do you capture and show the desktop? I'm on a mac.

2 ways to do it:

1. command+shift+3 = this will capture the entire screen and drop a png file to your desktop

2. command+shift+4 = will bring up a crosshair that lets you drag a window and frame an area you wish to snap, png file drops to your desktop

Macs rule.

---edit---
just saw applemacinstosh's response. well now you have it twice. Hehe

I can't post my desktop.

It's a pic of a Dargie Bongo and a very charming young lady wearing nought but her tattoos and piercings.
