On this date, October 16, 1982, I married the greatest woman in the world.


I just wanted to let you, my friends, know that.

She loves me I know, she bought me EBMM basses!

P.S. On 16 October 1982, the band I was playing in, Strange Isaac, had a meeting with two reps from Elektra Records. We played them our record. And they seemed to enjoy it. We were scheduled to drive to Seattle with our lawyer the following Monday to sign our contract. When we arrived at the office, we were not allowed inside. Our name was not on the receptionists list. And she admitted she had been told to not allow us in. That was as close as I ever came to being a rock-n-roll star!

Susan and I will be celebrating our 28th anniversary on the 23rd of November. We are also renewing our vows at a ceremony in St. Lucia on November 3rd. We don't really need to do that though because the original vows still work.
