No stock case, selling for a friend that has ebay feedback but no internet connection, selling for a friend but yet it is his and he is replacing it with a 6. Hmmmm... There are several AL forumites here that might be able to check on it personally. I wouldn't touch it with a 10' patch cable.

If I was selling a bass that was relatively new, I think I would know what the colour was called.

It is Lava Pearl (right?) :p

I would drive up to B-ham but if the stooge doesn't even know what the color is called, I certainly don't want to talk to him about it in person.

I'd be surprised if there are actually many people other than us forum geeks who know the names of EBMM colors. There are plenty of people who walk into a store and buy a bass without having any idea what the "official" color is. I'm sure there are plenty of salesmen in guitar stores who wouldn't know either. To Joe Average, that's just an orange or red bass.

I'll bet there are many thousands of Fen**r owners who have no idea their red bass is actually CAR or Fiesta Red, their white bass is called Olympic White, or that light blue bass they own is Sonic Blue.

If the friend has an eBay account, but not a computer, why not just let the friend log in on your computer using his own account?

Considering the spelling of "enternet," it's always possible that the friend sent an email with the info about the bass, and the owner of the ebay account simply cut/pasted and added info with less than sterling punctuation and grammar.

It's probably on the up and up, but they've done everything short of unviewable photos to drive the price down.

If someone wants it, maybe the Stank One could be bribed (a new loofah for the shower? His has to be getting...stanky...by now) to go and pick it up in person after the win and ship it out.
