One thing (out of the many things) that's great here is the EBMM won't require us to go to our dealer to get some kind of pass that will allow us to go to Desert Domination. All we have to do is let them know we're coming by posting in the appropriate thread.

Its unfortunate for both of us that both events are on the same weekend. I'm sure that Paul will put on at least an equal extravaganze.....(but is he picking up hotel rooms?)

I have nothing but respect for Paul and his team.......We ought to simulcast them!

I wish I could go to both instead of none! :(

PRS makes some great stuff, but the EBMMs in my stable still out number them 4 to 1!

God, please don't have Bill Walton on the broadcast if you do.

Although I think I read that they have Al DiMeola. Unbelievable talent. Years ago, when Alan Holdsworth was playing with Bill Bruford (77-78 maybe), I heard someone ask DiMeola what he thought of Holdsworth.

With a look on his face like someone had just suggsted he try to sew a fish head to a trash can lid, he said, "He doesn't pick all his notes, does he?"

HE'S PROBABLY A REALLY NICE GUY, THOUGH.

personally I think PRS and EBMM have forced certain other companies (you know who they are) lift their game. I'm glad I have made my choice and I'm sticking to it. Hope they have at least 1/8 of a good time as we will at the bash...

I saw Holdsworth and Bruford (with UK) open up for Dimeola in Santa Monica, CA. at the civic aud in 77 or 78. One of the great shows. Was a huge fan of Dimeola back then and hadn't even heard of Holdsworth. Blown away by both that night.
