Let me rephrase ... those aren't enough numbers to accurately describe how the pickup will respond to its environment. (Ditto ... engineer here ;) )

Hey Butch...you still totally happy with your Y2D? I'm dying to try one out.
A friend of mine has 2 of the old SM models with consecutive serial numbers...how cool is that?

Also, what kind of guitar is that on your myspace site when you click on the "laid back" track?

What kind of rig are you playing through? You definitley have that smooth robben ford tone going on....very, VERY nice. We need to get you hooked up so you can record with us.

Do you have a decent computer at home (by decent, I mean relatively new series of processor, and plenty of RAM)???

I'll walk you through this, and then I can hook you up with some software.

I am very happy with my Y2D; however, I'm thinking of trying some custom pickup wiring options with it. What the heck...

I used a Line 6 Variax modeling guitar through my Line 6 Flextone III Plus modeling amp.

The settings on the guitar were ES-335 bridge pickup and the amp was set on a Fender Twin amp with a Bassman 4x10 cab.

The Variax is a great guitar; however, since it used basically a peizo, it had this plastic type attack.

My son's PC, whic I'll be using has 1GB of RAM, a 2GHz AMD Athlon 64bit processor

Actually what I was asking is what kind of guitar is in the picture when you click on laid back...the body looks a lot like my carvin carved top....

Do you have a couple hundred bucks to spend for a audio/computer device?

Okay, I feel stupid now...;)

It's actually this one...

I'll have to check into that one. Buying the Y2D kind of tapped me for awhile....

BTW, thanks for the pics. I believe you can get the Y2D in Purple Sunset, D-Purpleburst, and Tobacco Sunburst.
