Hi everyone! Can anyone tell me how to change voltage in LM II from 110 to 220V? I tryed ti ask their customer service, but they told me that the procedure must be made by GC personnel. This LM II was brought to Russia by my friend who bought it several months ago at GC. I told him that I'm ready to pay the price of the new LM II (I mean US price) for his used one cause it costs about 300$ more here. After that conversation he didn't have time for a 2 hr ride to GC where he bought the amp.
So now that small beauty sits in my room without any chance to sing until I will do that "simple procedure":( If anyone knows the trick, please, help!!! Just imagine the situation - you got a new amp, but you can't use it. Isn't it horrible?
And after all I can do any "simple procedure" 'cause I have some technical experience.
Sorry for long post, guys.
Any help will be very appreciated.

(first of all, is this legal?.... i would think so. Warranty void etc.)

Mark, don't you think it will be funny - carrying 2 kg amp and 5 kg transformer around? :)
Tombboy, I think there is nothing illegal because US warranty doesn't work in Russia and is already void in fact.

You probably won't get an answer here unless our Markbass rep stops by.

One thing you can do is go to Talkbass and check the "amps" forum.

Good luck!
