I remember the recovery room...waiting in there was EVH, George Clooney (before he was a mega star), Luke, Miguel Ferrer, My family.....19 people the Doctores went rip Sh!t.

I am so appreciative for this result....and for the doctors at UCLA>

WE have paid them back with 7 million dollars in donations over the years. The Casey Lee Ball Foundation also supports research at Texas Childrens Hospital, Seattle Childrens Hospital, and Cincinnati Childrens Hospital.

For 17 years we have had a charity golf event and unfortunately it has come to an end. WE will continue to donate and raise money for the children with the over 50 terminal kidney diseases.

Please hug your kids or loved ones and raise a toast.

I'll air clink to that BP.

It's incredible how so much good be the result of this kind of situation. Thankfully my family has been in good health and my little girl is just amazing, although she complains that I hug and kiss her too much : )

Extraordinary BP. I'm so happy everything turned out for the best. Hopefully I can meet Casey Lee at NAMM if he will be there.

A genuine love story from a dad to his son

The line between sadness and happiness is so fine that I have learned to cherish all the happy moments with my family and also learned to overcome the sad one

What you have done is amazing and really something that we should show our appreciation and gratitude. Medical research is something that benefits everyone. Even outside the United States. Thank you for making the world's children this act

I hugged my daughter and said thanks out loud for this kind of incredible generosity. I pray we'll never need to take advantage of it, and that it'll be there for others that do.

I work in a dialysis unit - believe me the dietary and fluid restrictions alone are a real living challenge to those with advancing kidney disease (all types) - let alone the time needed (~4hours/day, 3x/week usually, or even daily depending on the mode of dialysis). Financial contributions to research in this area has the potential to improve quality of life greatly. Great job BP!
