I'm looking forward to hearing what other players come up with, but I'm not going to listen to any of them until I have my tracks down. I don't want to influence what I decide to do.

I hope to get something done this evening, and then I'll post.

I gave this a listen and had lots going in my head. I will not have time to track myself, but I an very interested to see the variations that do play out.

So far I've heard two versions... One from a buddy and another from keko. Both are different and very cool to hear. Keko is a very modest person and a perfectionist, otherwise I'd post the track here.

Hearing the different takes is the best part of doing something like this. :D

been sick the last couple days......will try an attempt this weekend.......looking forward to see where this goes.

it's a cool tune

Thanks! I hope you feel better soon. There's no rush.
I'll be heading out to Portugal tonight and won't be back until Friday night so if anyone wants me to mix their track, hang on just a bit. I really appreciate the interest that you guys show in joining in. Hopefully it'll be as fun for you as it is for me.

I don't mind if You share my test bass line track ;) , ...I'm gonna record it again anyway and try to play it more precise, less aggressive and smoother tone blended, maybe add a few more notes...etc.

cool.

not happy with my 3 takes so far......and have been busy as hell like we all are.......as long as you're not in a huge rush.

but yes...I'm having fun jammin' to Push......it'll come around....

thanks for the opportunity too

I bet your takes are a lot better than you think. We're all our own harshest critics. Definitely no rush. I've got tons of recording to do in the meantime.

Heh. You just saved me the trouble of writing this post. Testing and setting up Oracle is nowhere near as fun as playing RockStar. :D

I'm dying to get Cobalts on the Dargie, but I want good recordings of the Slinkys first. :(

Oh Yeah acwild,

my son (young guitar player) already downloaded this last mix version and play some heavy metal improvisation solos over the track right now! :p

When he setup his guitar solo arrangements maybe I'll record that together so we'll see what's gonna show up? :)

P.S. ...now when I listened several times this Your's final mix I'd like that I played bass line in parallel passive bridge H  (this is serial passive bridge H, little bit too "dark" tone), ...but never mind!
It was really fun to play something new to me, especially in that "online" way, ...cool! ;)

Q: ...did You added some compressor effect through my bass line?

Hi Keko,
I'd love to hear what your son comes up with! Your bass tone sounds great to me. I didn't add any effects at all. Maybe it was from the mp3 conversion. All I did was adjust panning and levels. In the final mix, I left your track a bit hot and moved us both off-center so that someone from the guitar forum may be able to put a solo in the center. My guitar part was meant to be in the background. If you want me to remix it, just tell me what you prefer. I think I got my software figured out now.
