...unbelievable.

Hang that one up against a wall as an example on how NOT to treat a guitar.
I'd say it's pretty useless trying to restore that one - pretty much not really worth the money as the base instrument is already completely f*cked up...

In some countries you would get a hand cut off for doing something like that.

"sing with Jesus"?...Did he mean..Like the Lord & Savior..or his mexican landscaper ? Because the Lord & Savior is a healer& a carpenter..but this is just way out there..It needs a MIRACLE..But I do see the four-point restraints Legion had on him in the Bible being used to hold the neck on..Praise be to Strawberry Wine & the Revelations of a Snake-Handler .This falls under the "You might be a REDNECK" ...Stick to First Act guitars at Wal-Mart ...O Brother, Where Art Thou

It goes to show how much work is involved in keeping up a Gibson over the years I guess ?? The thing looks like something Anakin Skywalker would race in the Boonta Eve Classic Podrace. But it's Vintage...and isn't that what counts ? Some lawyer or accountant will buy it .Same kinda guy who's girlfriend spent most of the 80's with their legs in the air like rabbit-antenna in Motley's tour bus :eek:...trying to regain his manhood back by buying guitars that Eric Clapton or Jimmy Page played .You can sniff them out a mile away at N.A.M.M & other guitar shows..from Long Island to Austin to Santa Monica ..The kind that the playing of Avril Lavigne..well looks like Steve Vai to the playing ability they've managed in the past 2 decades:D

Mr Dearnaley here in Cardiff could repair that - I've seen a lot of horrors in his workshop I can tell ya. A good luthier could rescue that - but it's one hell of a job.
