+1.

Good band pics are worth their weight in gold. Any time I've got a chance to play on a big stage with good lights I grab it and make darned sure somebody's taking pictures, even if the gig does not pay. They become band posters that make us look like a much bigger deal than we really are.

The alternative is "family snapshot" stuff. Just compare the new vs. old pics of Aussie Mark. Same guy, but in the old one it looks like he's playing in somebody's living room. The new one looks really professional.

It's amazing what good shots can do, even if they're not perfect. Check out the posters I made today....

You can not ever under estimate what a great tool pictures can be for any musical endeavor . I have been lucky enough to work with what I can arguably say is the very best photographer I have ever seen. It is amazing how good she makes us look even on small dive bar stages. And when we play the big ones , oh my oh my!!! Check out her music collections on flickr or look at the photos in my albums here and you will see what I mean !! Here is a link to her flickr sight, enjoy !! Flickr: Ellenote's Photostream

@loweliferumble: Very cool pics indeed! Your action pics look a bit like you come from the Steve Harris School of British Bass Playing ;). Very cool. Post some more here in this thread!

Well this is not exactly pics, but a video of us. The song is called End of the Desert. Our singer had wrote the words for the song for his cousin who was scheduled to be shipped out to Iraq the day after the show. Since the show was on the Navy base down here in Charleston, we decided to open with the song. The intro to the song was made by me, so I apologize if it's a little long, but we wanted to set the mood for our set. So far this song has really been a crowd favorite for us. I'm using my Stingray HH on it, so you can hear how it really cuts through the mix!

@Bloodfist: Remind me to buy your CD when it comes out... oh, and can I have one of your T-Shirts?
The CD will be out by the end of January (fingers crossed). We've really been buckling down hard and pushing ourselves to make every song absolutely perfect. Our biggest concern going into the studio was being able to capture that live feel. I hear a lot of artist that have a great sounding CD, but it doesn't translate over well at all live because of the extra "studio magic" they put into it. We didn't want that at all! Basically were not putting anything extra on the CD that we can't replicate on stage night after night because playing live is our passion. We're super critical on ourselves, so hopefully it will live up to our expectations and maybe more! For the record, I am using only my Stingray HH on this record, my Spectors have started dust bunny collections lol. My guitarist is only using EBMM JP6's with peizo's so you might hear a little of that peizo in the clean stuff. The strings we are using are Ernie Ball Skinny top Heavy Bottoms for him, and Ernie Ball Hybrids for me. I can't even begin to explain how great mine and his instrument sound together! As you probably can tell, I am really excited about this album!

As far as sending you a Tshirt, PM me your info and I'll see if I can't shoot one over to you. I'll have to check our stock first, we are running low but we're going to be placing another order here soon.

View attachment 6761 We opened for Saliva in early October, Elle ( our Photographer ) drove down to Portland from Seattle to take pictures for us. As is her usual habit , she will not only shoot pictures of us , but whatever bands we are playing with. The bass player, Dave Novotny, plays nothing but EBMM basses. He had 2 Stingrays 4H and a Bongo 5HH up on the stage with him. She got some great shots of him in action.

She is an amazingly talented artist!! I know I am biased , but just take a look at her work!!!! Here is a link to her web site http://www.ellenote.com/
