Yeah ... that's quite similar to playing a 70ies F***** bass, isn't it?
Well in fact, our - in the meantime ex - keyboarder had stopped playing for some years until I could convince him to join the band. So he brought along what he had at thatpoint in time ...
Acually, he's a brilliant musician and singer and was in his youth a member of the Vienna Boy's Choir ... unfotunately for us he got 2 lovely children in the meantime and decided to take a break from music, again :(

This "mutant" rig looks very interesting to me, BOSE boxes?

Whenever I start talking about that gear things tend to go off the rails pretty fast. Most people are happy and comfortable with more conventional equipment and it's just simpler to not rock the boat.

You think that MM users carry the "brainless fanboi" label? You ain't seen nothing 'til you've publicly adopted Bose gear. It elicits visceral, irrational reactions from those who "know" equipment (or think they do) that make the Bongo look like the most popular bass of all time.

It works for me very well indeed and I'm happy with it. That's all that really matters to me. The audiences like it, the band likes it and my back REALLY likes it.

If anyone wants more info I'll be happy to PM.
