First Slinkys, then Group IIIs, then Cobalts.

OK, ...I tried Slinkys on reflex (factory setup), ...than Coated Slinkys, ...flats are not my style, ...how about Cobalts?

My "on order" Cobalts are on their way to my dealer, ...but I wonder which strings fits the best on reflex from Your point of view Jack?

Thanks!

First official (sorta) gig with the Lamborghini Orange Burst Reflex.

Drummer Andy is clearly telling some lies before we go on.

I am making some noise with my mouth here.

Brian and I make noises together with our mouths.

I am considering making more noise with my mouth.

FTR, I played in passive all night with a LMII and a MB 2-10 cab. Did it rock? Yes, it did.

Nice Jack! Where is that? You and I live fairly close to each other so I'm probably familiar with the place.

We played a couple of gigs at the Moose recently. I'll send a shout next time we play.

That's the Back Porch Tavern in Grapevine. We haven't gigged in so many years that open mic nights are the only thing we should be doing at this point, and I'm not even sure we should be doing that.

The Moose! We played there once and they hated us. Not enough "real country" or "straight from the jukebox" stuff in our set, I'm sure. "They played Ring of Fire but they were singing about stopping the world and melting with you."

From last night:

That special moment when I don't have to play any notes. (Don't ask me.)

Let's get together. We'll probably play the Back Porch again next Wednesday.

Passive mode on the Reflex puts out some pretty good groove. I use that most of the time and switch to active with a little extra bass and low mid when I'm playing soft stuff that I want to add a really beefy low-end bottom to the mix.

Nice gig pics. I wish I had some to add but my playing is all church services right now and we don't take pics very often. Maybe if I get a chance to play out somewhere I'll get a couple to throw in.

Tbone - Oh well, that's why I work in IT, not finance! ;)
Keko - Our guitarist is getting married (again) so we've got a couple of weeks of downtime. That works well for me to learn more GC tricks!
